Excellent Stay
anniversary treat convenient parking perfect location clean room
The staff provided an upgrade and a treat, acknowledging my anniversary. I also found on-site parking very convenient. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the shore.. a quick tram ride goes to the center. Everywhere felt clean and luxurious.
I noticed very slight wear in the room.

The Club Double Room included very good quality linen and completely comfortable features. The coffee and tea service was a welcome touch and much appreciated. This room provides a great stay..

significant wear loud music
the location was acceptable. it was close to the tram line.
i was disappointed by the upkeep. there was significant wear and tear in the room i was given. the loud music in common areas was a disturbance to me.

adequate stay, minor issues
helpful staff free parking firm bed usb port
the location is good. there are lovely restaurants right on the doorstep with princes street accessible after a 30-minute walk. the staff were excellent and very helpful. free parking is a definite plus.
the bed was very firm. i am sure some people love that, but there was no give in it, so it was pretty uncomfortable for me. usb ports by the beds did not work. phones remained uncharged overnight!

friendly front desk warm smile top-quality drinks loud noise banging door thin wall
The front desk staff were friendly. Chris was especially great. He greeted me with a warm smile. The hotel design was well put together. The tram stop was located around the corner from the hotel. This allowed easy access to the city center every six minutes. The bar had top-quality drinks including cocktails.
I could hear every door on the floor bang shut. I could hear the people in the room next door. I also heard the people in the room across from me. A loud wedding party stayed on my floor. There was shouting and banging on doors until 3am.
